More Than Just a Job.
Community staff residence at Manning Park Resort is one of the many benefits of being part of our team. Residences are a short walk or bike from the resort, and a staff bus is available to transport employees to the ski hill during winter.
In employee residences you will either have your own room or share with one other person. Furnished common rooms, including kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms are shared between 2-10 people.
At Manning Park Resort, employees pay no rent. They are only responsible for a bi-weekly utility and maintenance fee of no more than $125 (a damage deposit of $225 is required upon move-in). We do not allow pets or smoking in staff houses. Employees are responsible for cooking for themselves, cleaning staff houses, and providing their own bedding and personal items.
If you have a motor home or trailer, you are welcome to park it in the staff residence area. Septic, electricity and running water are available, utilities and fees to be determined.
In summer, staff receive free canoe rentals and many staff activities. Summer staff activities include hiking, canoeing on Lightning Lake, mountain biking, tennis, camping, fishing, and beach volleyball. Also enjoy free access to the Loon Lagoon Centre for free swimming, sauna, steam room and exercise room access. Common summer staff events are tennis, volleyball and golf tournaments, as well as bowling and movie nights.
Winter is also a great time to be at Manning Park Resort. Employees get a complimentary season’s pass to the ski hill, as well as free lessons and free or discounted equipment rentals. Regardless of whether you are a snowboarder, cross-country or downhill skier, Manning Park offers the snow to make yours a fantastic season. Additional staff activities in the winter include ice skating, tobogganing and holiday festivities.
