Campfire Conditions

Campfires are currently permitted throughout all Manning Park Campsites


A campfire is defined as:
An open fire that burns piled material no larger than 0.5 m in height and 0.5 m in width and is used by any person for recreational purpose, or by a First Nation for a ceremonial purpose. More information

Smoke-Free Manning Park

Please smoke in Designated smoking areas only.


Designated areas at the Resort include:
-Cordoned off stall in front of Manning Park Lodge, near ‘Camping Info’ kiosk
-The covered pathway area at the back of the Lodge, to the west of the Lodge, towards the cabins. More information

The Guest Speaker Programs are ongoing all summer at Manning Park. We are still finalizing dates and guests for this season, so please stay tuned for the latest details and updates.

Learn to Fish

Once again the Freshwater Fisheries Folks will be bringing their Learn to Fish programs to Manning Park!  Kids age 5-15 can bring their parents along as they learn everything there is to know about fishing!  Gear is provided.  Programs are every Tuesday from 11-1, until August 21, 2018.  Meet at the Lightning Lake Amphitheatre – rain or shine!

Parks Day Celebrations

July 21st, 2018 – Celebrate Park Days with a party with all our friends – @ Lightning Lake Day Use from 11am-3pm, featuring BC AdventureSmart team, Freshwater Fisheries Society, BC Parks and Princeton Visitor Centre.  Join us for this special day!

Wildlife Cameras

August 6, 2018 7:30pm at Amphitheatre- Join special guest, Roger Bean, as he shares stories and photographs from wildlife cameras hidden in Manning’s backcountry!
