Campfires are currently allowed throughout all Manning Park Campsites!

 

A campfire is defined as:
An open fire that burns piled material no larger than 0.5 m in height and 0.5 m in width and is used by any person for recreational purpose, or by a first nation for a ceremonial purpose. More information

The Guest Speaker Programs are ongoing all summer at Manning Park. We are still finalizing dates and guests for this season, so please stay tuned for the latest details and updates.

BIO Bus

The BIObus is traveling across North America carrying researchers to collect, record and analyze insects and other invertebrates. Check out what they’ve found at the Lightning Lake Day Use Area Saturday afternoon and also try some of their insect catching techniques. Then, in the evening, join us at the Amphitheatre for the Great Insect Quiz Show and find out more about the BIObus folk’s quest for DNA barcoding.

OWL

Owls! Incredible masters of adaptation, owls are ready for anything! Join the folks from OWL in three programs – a pellet check, a chance to meet a live owl, and join them late in the evening for an owl prowl on Strawberry Flats!

Join Sam and Fanny for some old fashioned entertainment as they wait for the stagecoach to pick them up and take them to the Gold Rush. Featuring a wide variety of instruments this is fun for the whole family!
