Campfires are currently not allowed throughout all Manning Park Campsites!


A campfire is defined as:
An open fire that burns piled material no larger than 0.5 m in height and 0.5 m in width and is used by any person for recreational purpose, or by a first nation for a ceremonial purpose. More information

Horse Camps & Trails.

Exploring Manning Park by horseback is another of the many Fresh Air Experiences available in the area. Find your way into the backcountry wilderness along the many trails available for riding use, and spend the night in one of two backcountry horse camps.

Horses are welcome on the following trails at Manning Park:

  • Monument 83
  • Dewdney
  • Windy Joe
  • Poland Lake
  • Skagit Bluffs
  • Silmikameen East and West
  • North Gibson
  • Little Muddy
  • Hope Pass
  • South Gibson

Camping with horses is available both at Manning Park Resort at the Headwaters Corral, and also in the on the Dewdney and Hope Pass trails.
